What we collect when you use this site or get in touch, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
Last updated: September 2026
EdgeWeb Infotech LLP ("EdgeWeb", "we", "us") operates edgeweb.co. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors from anywhere, including the USA, Europe, Australia and India.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or the project discovery form, we collect what you enter — typically your name, work email, phone number, company, website, the service you're asking about, budget range, timeline and project details. We use this only to reply to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type, and referral source. This is aggregated usage data, not something we use to identify you personally.
Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors between sessions. You can block or delete these through your browser's privacy settings at any time without affecting your ability to browse the site — only the enquiry forms require you to type anything in.
How we use it
- To reply to project enquiries and discovery-form submissions, including the automatic confirmation email you receive after submitting.
- To understand which pages and services people are actually interested in, so we can improve the site.
- To meet legal, accounting or security obligations where required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this site and our enquiry process work:
- Vercel — hosts this website and its serverless functions.
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
- Google (Gmail SMTP) — delivers enquiry notifications and the confirmation email to you.
- WhatsApp / Meta — only if you choose to message us via the WhatsApp links on this site, in which case Meta's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
We don't share your enquiry details with anyone else, and we don't sell it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect EdgeWeb's legal rights.
Where your data is processed
EdgeWeb is based in India, and enquiry data you submit is processed and stored there. Because we work with clients in the USA, Europe, Australia and elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where required, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy regardless of where it's processed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project correspondence for as long as it's relevant to a potential or active engagement, or as needed to comply with legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
Wherever you're based, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that's inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for a legal reason.
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose.
To exercise any of these, email info@edgeweb.co — we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here — we don't maintain a separate change log.
