Case Study / Web Platform & Learning Video Portal

ISKCON Mumbai Bureau:
an internal platform
for managing training videos.

EdgeWeb built a website and a learning-video management portal for the Bureau of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Mumbai, on a full MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). The engagement was delivered under NDA for the Bureau's trustees — shared here with their permission, at the level of detail they've approved.

The Problem & The Approach

The problem

The Bureau needed one place to manage its training and reference video content for trustees, instead of files and links spread across drives and message threads — and no website for the Bureau itself.

The approach

Build both as one MERN application: a website for the Bureau, and a dedicated video management portal where trustees can upload, organize and retrieve training content from a single internal system.

What We Built

One platform, two parts.

Bureau Website

A web presence for the Bureau, built and delivered as part of the same engagement.

Learning Video Portal

A dedicated system for uploading, organizing and retrieving the Bureau's training video content in one place.

Built for Trustees

An internal system for the Bureau's trustees, not a public-facing product — access is restricted by design.

MERN Stack

MongoDB for data, Express and Node.js for the API layer, React for the interface — one JavaScript stack end to end.

A Note on Confidentiality

Built under NDA, described at a distance.

The Bureau of ISKCON Mumbai gave EdgeWeb permission to name them as a client and describe the shape of this engagement — a website and a learning-video management portal, on a MERN stack, built for the Bureau's trustees. Screenshots, feature-level detail and usage figures aren't included, since the system itself is internal and wasn't ours to publish.

"ISKCON" refers to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. This case study is published with the Bureau's permission, describes services rendered by EdgeWeb, and does not imply endorsement of EdgeWeb or its other work by ISKCON or the Bureau.
